Re: Mass Shooting Inside Pulse Nightclub, Orlando Terrorist Shooting
They're not hard to obtain if you have the cash and time to wait for paperwork. Full auto AR15/M16 will run you around $20,000. An Uzi or Mac 10 full auto will run you around $3,500. Just have to fill out an ATF form 4, pay your $200 tax stamp and wait months and its all yours. EDIT: I wont go into all the details of getting one as this isn't the thread for that but this is the jist of it. |

Re: Mass Shooting Inside Pulse Nightclub, Orlando Terrorist Shooting
Have you ever trained with a firearm? Even with 10 round magazines, reloading a weapon takes seconds so spouting off with too many rounds in a magazine is pointless. The fact is someone should have been concealed carrying that night, plain and simple. As far as a handgun doing he same damage? Of course...it depends on the hand gun. If he would have had 2 FN Five sevens for instance he could have done a lot MORE damage. Anywhi this isn't a debate about guns I just am disappointed when people are manipulated by the media with trigger words. |

Re: Mass Shooting Inside Pulse Nightclub, Orlando Terrorist Shooting
He had large mags and his weapon was a Sig Sauer which is an assault rifle but the internal mechanisms are designed different than AR-15s, they use the same setup as an AK-47 and were originally designed as a Special Forces modular rifle. BTW an assault rifle bullet leaves the barrel at 3 times the velocity of a typical handgun and exit wound would be the size of an orange on human tissue per shot. In such a compact area, his bullets were hitting multiple targets per shot. |

Bullshit. It's not impossible, it's relatively easy if you have a military or law enforcement background, and even easier if you had a secret or top secret clearance while serving. The thing is most of those with legal full auto firearms have to go through so much shit to get them that they aren't the kind of person who would go on a mass shooting spree. |
