Came across some interesting info regarding this case. (There have also been decades of failed appeals, most recently in 2014. But in January 2017, MacDonald filed a federal appeal based on new evidence, including three hairs found at the scene that don’t match the family’s DNA, and an affidavit alleging that the trial prosecutor intimidated Stoekley into lying on the witness stand. While the unidentified DNA is also not a match for Stoekley (who is now deceased), MacDonald’s attorneys say it proves there was an intruder. I've looked into it a bit. I find his injuries to be very odd. He claims he was awoken by screams from his wife and daughter. That he was stopped and attacked when going to them. His blood soaked pajama shirt was torn and found under his wife's body. Fibers from his pajamas were found in both daughters rooms. 1 fiber from his pajama top was found under his daughter's fingernails as well. On the other hand people admitted to being on the house that night. The woman that testified against him implicated him. A long hair from the wig she was wearing was found at the scene. I think there is reasonable doubt for sure. |

I don't understand why these pos guys (and yes, sometimes women) need to annihilate their entire families- you're not happy, leave, you want to end it, take yourself out but no one else- selfish and narcissistic and growing all too common. Poor souls, may they rest in peace. Btw, eerie as it is, my first name is Kristen and the date of the murders happens to be my birthday- strange....  |
