Read / watched a lot on this case but this is the first time seeing this photographs. For me it’s NOT the fx hyoid bone or thyroid cartridge, it’s the location of the furrow. In 6 years I’ve run enough hangings and enough assault injuries to state with the highest degree of confidence: This was NOT a hanging. This WAS ligature strangulation. |

Obviously... If it was a legitimate suicide by hanging, the strangulation marks should be farther up his neck under his lower jaw line.
