The broom bit and the hillside corpse show that the killers liked to "pose" the corpse after death... creating a shocking pose sure to taunt and horrify policemen.

I find the whole "broom photo" a bit suspicious. It just looks too staged. Ok, looks like she's on the floor of a shower or something. But she has no sign of skin bruises that would naturally form whithin 8 or so, i'm not sure there, hours. If this were part of a serial murder I'm sure we would know by now. It may be a real crime scene ( don't know) but it's not one of the Hillside Stranglers...... I think. :)

Peter Lorre's daughter Catherine was almost a victim. They were doing their usual "dressed as cops" routine and pulled her car over, but let her go once they found out who she was. She said she never realized who they were until she saw the news of their arrests.

The woman impaled on the broom handle is Mary Sullivan, she was the last victim of the Boston Strangler, this picture was taken with her on the autopsy table with a surgical saw by her left leg.
