Second image is not Sala. It appeared on a gore site two years ago - was a body washed up on a beach. Emiliano Sala died in January 2019.
Was that image posted on DR because I’m having trouble locating it?

Most likely this one, Dan, I've seen it elsewhere being mistakenly put with the other photos.

Re: Emiliano Sala's Death Pictures From Plane Crash in Alderney

I'm slightly sceptical. His body (especially his tattoos) are in remarkably good condition considering he was at the bottom of the channel for 2 weeks. A body typically putrifies in water within 48 hours with severe bloating normally present.

Also where is his head? Unless he was decapitated in the crash? Unusual for an autopsy to remove the head as a whole.

Maybe I'm wrong
water in the channel in Feb. is very low.

It depends on the temperature of the water. In cold water, the bacterial action that causes a body to bloat with gas may be so slowed that the body stays on the seabed. The skin will absorb water and peel away from the underlying tissues in about a week and fish, crabs and sea lice will nibble away at the flesh.

Cold water also encourages the formation of adipocere. This is a waxy, soapy substance formed from the fat in the body that partially protects the body against decomposition.

Bodies have been retrieved almost completely intact from waters below 7°C after several weeks, and as recognisable skeletons after five years.

That makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up

Re: Emiliano Sala's Death Pictures From Plane Crash in Alderney

Those plane photos are not of the one Sala was flying in. The ones pictured are of a Reims-Cessna but he was flying in a Piper Malibu and I believe the recovery mission was abandoned anyway so it’s still at the bottom of the channel.
