Elvis Presley Autopsy Report, 1978

The untimely death of Elvis Presley on August 16, 1977, in Memphis, Tennessee, continues to be a subject of medical and public interest. Recent findings from toxicologists at the University of Utah have provided new insights into the circumstances surrounding the demise of the "King of Rock and Roll." Laboratory studies of autopsy specimens revealed the presence of 11 drugs in Presley's system, all of which were consistent with medical treatment.

Dr. Bryan S. Finkle, director of the Center for Human Toxicology, said that the drugs found in Elvis's system were prescribed for legitimate medical reasons. He confirmed that there was no evidence of alcohol consumption before Presley's death, which was initially attributed to an erratic heartbeat. Despite extensive investigations, including a third toxicological analysis by the Center, the details of the toxicological report remain undisclosed due to privacy rights and legal constraints.

The Shelby County Medical Examiner, Dr. Jerry T. Francisco, after consulting with Dr. Finkle, concluded that the drugs found in Presley's system were not a contributing factor to his death. Four drugs were identified in significant quantities, including Ethinamate, Methaqualone, codeine, and barbiturates, but were not deemed to constitute an overdose. Dr. Francisco maintained that Presley died of heart disease and that his death would have occurred irrespective of the drugs present.

The autopsy, performed at the Baptist Memorial Hospital by chief of pathology Dr. Eric Muirhead, was thorough and involved several medical professionals. It focused on understanding the circumstances of Presley's death, including a detailed toxicological analysis. Dr. Finkle's role was to determine the presence and concentration of drugs in Presley's system, but he did not speculate on the cause of death.

Presley was found in his Graceland mansion and was last seen alive earlier that day. His health issues, including a battle with weight, were well-documented. Despite the findings of the toxicological report, the exact contribution of the prescription drugs to his death remains a topic of discussion among medical professionals.

Re: Elvis Presley Autopsy Report, 1978

Actually, you're all wrong. There was never an Elvis Presley. He was actually a CIA operative, going by the name of Stingray. He was merely test the waters of this new craze called, "Rock 'n' Roll". When his duty was up in 1977, he went into hiding. He now lives in Nome, Alaska, under the name John Blue Cannon.
