The shooter, identified as Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old security guard, entered the Pulse Nightclub armed with a semi-automatic rifle and a handgun. Over the course of several hours, Mateen carried out the massacre, taking hostages and engaging in a standoff with law enforcement. The siege ended when Orlando Police Department officers breached the building and fatally shot Mateen.

Investigations by the FBI revealed that Mateen had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS) during the attack. However, further inquiry into his motives suggested a complex web of influences, including possible personal and psychological factors. The attack was classified as both a terrorist attack and a hate crime, highlighting the intersection of extremism and homophobia.

Thanks man, I'm glad you found it interesting. Autopsy reports definitely don't get as much love as pics or videos (understandably ofc but it always makes me happy when I find someone else who has interest in them).
