My grandmother and my mother almost rented that house after the murder. my mother remembers a large lock on the basement. They did not rent the house due to oil furnace. Recently they found the woman responsible for her death working at a school locally. After they found out who she was they fired her.

This case is the most fucked up thing that I ever saw on the Internet, I mean, I'm desensitized to gore and kinda sympathize with some serial killers, but this shit, it fucking shocked me, along with the Junko Furuta case. How heartless do you have to be to do something like this? These people were true sociopaths, with no ability to empathize whatsoever. I hope there is an afterlife, so Sylvia could get another chance.

So unbelievable that a woman could be that heinous to a child like that, although I know it's true. She also probably created serial killers out of one or more of her boys who did the torturing.

So, I am reading "The Basment" right now, and it doesn't have any photos like that. Just in-life photos and crime scene photos after the body was moved. I'm wondering if the crime scene photos that are online (with the branding and of her laying in the bed) are from another edition of that book? Because online it says there is another one that has a new "forward" by Kate Millett. Do you have this book?
