Re: Death & Crime Scene Pictures From The Sylvia Likens Case
has it always been a bad area? i do think gertrude was poor, and lived like a dirty slob (movie shows a neat, tidy house...) - and it was showed as a typical american pie neighbourhood. i don't think it was. very sad stories there too. the murders. wonder why it took so long to tear down that house. there was a rumour that an home for abused/women and children was to go there. i am so glad it didn't. just leave it alone. also, there is a house like this in Canada that is almost like a museum, which should be torn down but it is such a famous case from so long ago, people go see it. not like Anne Frank museum, but it is eery. these cases haunted me for a long time and made me hold and hug my baby so tight. i would go in just to hug her at night.

Re: Death & Crime Scene Pictures From The Sylvia Likens Case
I know the original charges. did you watch the movie? it isn't entirely accurate. some charges will piss you right off. like i said, more charges would have been laid and they would have been adult. of course no one is jail now and a few are dead. there is a book called THE BASEMENT if you are really interested in the case. i found too that one of Sylvia's older sisters Diane came to see her and was made to leave, then when Jennie saw her in town she told her she was not allowed to speak to her. now, in our !" why was it legal to leave your kids with a stranger? |
