Re: Darlie Routier Crime Scene Pictures
I live in Dallas, TX, about 30 mins outside of Rowlett, where this all happened... The house at 5801 Eagle Dr in Rowlett was sold shortly after Darlie’s incarceration for $98,000...It was sold again in 2006, and is currently on the market, again, for $299,000; I wonder who in their right mind would ever buy this property, after all that has happened on its grounds?! I ask...does anyone out there actually think Darlie was inculpable in this case? Every time I see Darlie giving a statement to the press...I keep thinking to myself that it always seemed well-rehearsed [too well-rehearsed] and nothing more than an ACT, worthy of accolades from the SAG. It appeared (at least, to me) that she could care much less about the livelihood her boys and that it’s more about her need for fame above all else. Even [Andrea] Yates (who had a long, long history of mental illness - as told to me by one of her caretakers at the hospital) is one thing; [Yates’] state of mind and intentions were well documented. On the other hand, Darlie herself appeared (appears) to be quite something else...Does anyone else also see the blatant “crocodile tears” (ie. No Tears.) and inconsistencies in her storie(s) given to police? I’m curious, because there are some people close to me (in my personal circle) who still seem to think she is innocent...? [I, for one, am not of that opinion] I tell them they don’t know all the facts of the case and if they had known all the facts - they would most definitely change their minds about Darlie and what happened. [and the ‘Silly String’ video doesn’t have anything to do with my opinion] In fact, none of her story makes any sense to me. I don’t care that her case came out a mere 11mos after the Susan Smith case in SC; it does seem to be at least serendipitous; however, none of that makes her look any less guilty in my mind, nor does it make me view her ever-changing stories as truth. I’d like to know how you came to this conclusion if you believe her to be innocent. What was the one (or more?) thing that led you to that defining moment? - what was the defining moment in which you decided her guilt or innocence, and what evidence do you have? I am looking to find out if anyone else knows more information that has yet to come out in regard to her case...I do feel there is a reason she is on death row; [none of her story(-ies) made any sense to me up until now, but I do want to perhaps hear more] from anyone who may know more than me) about her guilt or innocence. If you are convinced of her innocence (and are someone like me, who seeks the truth...other than someone in her family), I’d really like to hear what you have to say, and what you believe to be a “deal-breaker” for you, without judgement from me (who am I to judge?). I hope this can perhaps indicate a direction for me to do further research. If we all believe she is guilty, and be at peace about it, [that is, way beyond a reasonable doubt] then maybe I will be able to sleep better at night, knowing she’s on Death Row in Texas...For Texas is a state that does not make apologies for going after the wrong person. And if/when she dies, it will be a moot point. Thanks muchly, in advance! -Endobiont1138 |

Re: Darlie Routier Crime Scene Pictures
I'd like to believe she's innocent, but I don't. The only thing that throws me is the supposed "unknown fingerprint & DNA" found at the scene that is still undergoing testing. I've wondered if Darin was involved...if it was some sort of scheme between them that got out of hand? Idk...he doesn't seem like the brightest bulb in the box, so I'm not sure about him. From what I've read the youngest who survived, Drake, went to live with & was raised by his grandparents. I always thought that was a little odd, that Darin couldn't get his shit together as an adult to be a dad afterwards? They both seemed so weird. I check for updates on this case from time to time, still waiting on DNA testing. I hope it provides any answers at all.
