For us to buy a handgun (semi auto or otherwise) is extremely difficult, as they are weapons who's primary intended use is to kill people efficiently. Hunting weapons are common, I have a Remington 270 and 222, and a couple of twin trigger 12 guages. It is possible to get handguns and assault weapons here but you need a collectors licence, which is VERY strict as we don't want something capable of killing many people in a short space of time in general circulation.

Even with a standard gun license the cops come to check your gun safe, guns & ammo must be locked up separately, any fuck ups and you land in court. Do they have any arms amnesty events in the US? Where any stray guns can be taken in no questions asked to be destroyed?

Yes, she climbed into the back seat, presumably for a better firing angle at the approaching cops.

She was driving the vehicle. Every report issued anywhere about the chase indicated as much. When the SUV stopped, he got out and ran. You can see his body, very clearly male, lying all the way across the road in a puddle of blood. Both in the close-ups and in the overheads.

While he was running away (possibly shooting while doing so, it has not been stated), she climbed into the back seat where there were additional weapons and continued firing at the approaching police. She was killed while in the back seat.

I have no idea who opened the driver's side door. He did, she did, or the cops did. Doesn't really matter. What is unarguably, plainly clear is that a FEMALE body falls out of the SUV and is shown in the helicopter view a few moments later, face down and partially disrobed. Her clothes are cut and in disarray because of the remote bomb robot that checked her for explosives, which is SOP in such a situation. But the body is clearly hers. The legs are decidedly feminine, she's wearing a dark red bra, and her hair is loose. She's also suffered from a visible wound in her lower back.

I believe that they were being worn beneath her bulkier outwear. The helicopter view with her lying in the street, soiled shorts clearly visible, was taken after the bomb robot had moved/cut away most of her outer clothing while searching for explosives. I do not believe she was wearing the shorts openly during the full attack, if I have read the reports correctly. But I am not 100% certain on that point.
