I am from Colorado and no it's not fucked up people are. What a lot of people don't know is that the two boys who shot up the school were bullied and teased a lot and they just snapped. It was blamed on the game doom too cover it up and justify why they did this instead of the truth. So don't be too quick to judge as people do so well. p.s. I'm not saying what they did was right but when your pushed over the edge you don't think clearly and shit happens.....!!!!!!!  |

I was living in Denver when Columbine happened. It is not possible to covey in words the mass grief and shock the majority of a city of six mil or so can produce. It was heart breaking and soul rupturing. There was also a heluvalot of the blame game going on. First it was the goths fault. I had a sixteen year old goth kid that was almost deliberately run of the road with me walking next to him. Harris and Klebold were not goths. They were rich spoiled dissaffected picked and stomped on wounded kids. Principal and other authority figures totally ignored the abuse ( as they usually did) with tragic results. I am not willing or meaning to lay blame totally at any one faction. This was a perfect storm. Unbelievably damaging to all involved and to those who gave a shit anywhere else.
