His love was bigger than a Cadillac. RIP, Buddy. And everyone else on that plane. And apparently, Chuck Berry now too. It's sad what the music world has come to. All of the legends are either six feet under by now or headed down that freeway. Dylan, Springsteen, Waters and Jagger are all supposedly alive and well. But for how long? I was hoping Tom Petty would make it to 80, but I was wrong again. Don Henley knew this time was coming when he penned that song about Holly, Valence, etc: "The day the music died". |

Buddy Holly had a laceration to the scrotum. My nuts hurt and I don't even have nuts. Ouch.

The injuries to all especially to Ritchie Valens and Buddy Holly were horrendous. Thank goodness they died instantly. |
