The parents were in a religious cult that believed the end of the world was coming any second. So they pretty much spent their entire childhood thinking the world was gonna end the next day. They were isolated and not allowed to attend school or have normal childhoods or friends. I don't think any child could grow up to be normal with that kind of upbringing. They grew up in constant fear and terror of the apocalypse. So I don't feel sorry for the parents at all, them dying was the best thing that ever happened to that family. I just wish they hadn't killed their siblings. Honestly if they didn't kill their siblings they probably could of got a much lighter sentence. They could of all claimed abuse and had happy lives probably. Perfect example of why I say extremist religious freaks and people in cults should be considered mentally ill not competent to raise a child.
