Living in Philly I am very familiar with this case. So sad but there still is no clue to his identity. The officers that were involved in the case were obsessed with it; many working on the case even after they were off the force. Many still visit his grave to this day.

I have read about this case before. The thing that caught my attention is the fact that his hair was cut (sloppily) very close to his time of death. (They found his cut hairs on his body). His nails were also trimmed very close to t.o.d. All of the bruises appeared to have been formed at the same time, with no sign of prior abuse. He had surgical scars that healed very well. My immediate thought was that this boy was kidnapped by someone who didn't/couldn't have kids and romanticized what being a parent would be like. He may have been with someone for some time. To try to hide him, they dressed him as a girl. Let his hair and nails grow out. Eventually the stress of caring for a child (not as easy as they thought) wore on their fragile psyche until the day they snapped and beat the child to death.

Jesus they couldnt tie this in with a missing persons case??? IF it was never reported then the parent must have done it, OR one of the asshoels that 'found it yet didnt report it"

This case has fascinated me for a really long time. Makes me wonder about all the horrible things that this little boy saw in his short time on this Earth. Poor kid. Never had a chance.
