And this was supposed to generate sympathy for the Chechen independence movement? I may not care for the Russians, as they don't seem to believe in subtlety, but I'm gonna say Putin got this one right.

The full story of what went on in the school while the authorities "negotiated" with the terrs has never been told to the public. I put that in quotes because it was only negotiation to the authorities, the terrs had no intention of letting anyone walk away. They raped females as young as four, set bowls of water just out of the reach of children and adults, dared them to try to reach it, and shot them when they reached. And worse. I sincerely hope and believe there is a special corner of Hell for such people.
