SAS could not of rescued them, the islamics had a huge bomb in the room soon as any rescue starts boom. The SAS lost some hostages in the iranian embasy because it takes less than a second to shoot an automatic weapon at a bunch of hostages but more than a minute to clear a load of rooms.

British SAS....Nice to hear that you know another past...IF.... Do you understand, that terrorists hid behind children backs, everything started after explosion, no one knew what was happening, Sports room was burning with injured and killed people inside, this is one of the reasons why they entered into the school. One member of special forces died when terrorist threw the grenade into hostages, he saved them with his own body. Many were killed because of these terrorists cowards. Many were killed when they held children in their arms and tried to save them, after explosion terrorists opened fire on hostages who tried to run away to safety. Can you get the picture? This is not call of duty. It was very difficult situation with limited time.

Truly horrible, 380+ innocents died there, god knows how many terrorists got away, they only found 30 bodies, the government says there were only 32, but hostages counted upwards of 50 armed men. Botched rescue isn't the word for this, massive failure, nearly 40% mortality rate.

Altough it is a terrible tragedy i can understand russian logic, they give one simple message `If you hide behind hostages make sure they are tank shell proof`
