Re: Andrei Chikatilo Crime Scene Photos
That had to be an amazing trial to attend: They brought him into the Rostov courtroom on April 14, 1992, and put him into a large iron cage painted off-white, where he could either stand or sit. The judge sat on a dais and two citizens on either side acted as jurors. There were 225 volumes of information collected about him and against him. The press wrote about "the Maniac" and spread the word about his upcoming trial, so the courtroom, which seated 250, was filled with the family of many of his alleged victims. When he entered, they began to scream at him. Bald and without his glasses, he looked slightly crazy, especially when he drooled and rolled his eyes later in the trial. Throughout, Chikatilo appeared to be bored, except when he'd show a flash of anger and yell back at the crowd. On two separate occasions, he opened his trousers and pulled them down to expose his penis, insisting he was not a homosexual. They removed him from the courtroom. · |

Re: Andrei Chikatilo Crime Scene Photos
the movie "Citizen X" is a must-see. Steven Rhea and Donald Sutherland are really, really good as, respectively, the ME reluctantly turned detective and the high ranking party official who supports him. forget who plays Chikatilo, but he gives a tour de force performance. you should check it out.

Re: Andrei Chikatilo Crime Scene Photos
Andrew Romanovich Chikatilo, during his trial for 52 murders Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo was born shortly after the Ukrainian famine. Her mother filled his head with stories at bedtime a hapless older brother, Stepan, who has been cannibalized by the hands of starving the Ukrainians. Such atrocities, Andrei mother conceded, were not uncommon at this time. The story of a brother, then a child, abduction of and used for food haunted the young boy. However, he finished school, colleg went and got married. Inside, however, something was deadly wrong. In the spirit of Chikatilo, it was simply thinning the population of "undesirables". He picked up runaways, prostitutes. Disgusted by their status as "lower class" he became excited when in the act of killing. It also reduced their languages, gutted with a knife in his hand, cut off body parts, and a plethora of other monstrosities. He almost always had great sexual pleasure from his actions, which describes the sadistic. Andrei was convicted of the charges and sentenced to death. In 1994, he was led into a room of bare concrete with a drain in the center of the floor. Instructed to look at the wall and not turn, He was shot in the back of the head of the Russian style, and executed. |
