Re: Andrei Chikatilo Crime Scene Photos
The son did face charges which I am guessing where the rumors of him being a serial killer came from. Also why he is no longer using his wifes surname which he had been doing to hide who he is. Apparently it was not as exciting as all that, According to this article it was a fight with a friend that was particularly nasty. Both ended up stabbed. http://newspepper.su/news/2012/2/28/...asbourg-court/ Protecting Yuri Miroshnichenko (son of Rostov maniac Chikatilo Andrei), who was arrested for attempted murder in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, intends to apply to the European Court of Human Rights. It is reported Kharkiv edition SQ with reference to a lawyer Vladimir Suntsova. Protection works to ensure that the charge was changed to Yuri Miroshnichenko. According Suntsova, which represents the interests of the prisoner, his client's actions can be evaluated as bodily injury and excessive self-defense (and not attempted murder). In this case, Miroshnichenko could shake a few years in prison. In case, if the current wording of the charges will remain in force, he, as noted, faces up to 15 years imprisonment. If the Ukrainian courts trying the case Miroshnichenko, refuse to comply with the requirements of protection will be sent a complaint to the ECHR. The son of Andrei Chikatilo was arrested in April 2009. Then, between him and his friend Ivan Udovenko a fight. As a result, the two were reportedly stabbed. During the investigation, the victim was found Udovenko, and fight the culprit - Miroshnichenko. The latter initially accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm, then the charge was changed to the more serious - an attempt at murder. Since then, Miroshnichenko is in custody. His case was considered several courts, it was sent for further investigation. Currently, he is engaged Investigation Department of the Kharkiv Regional Department of the Interior Ministry. Miroshnichenko lawyer believes his client to the police are biased. "The accusation is based on the longer, whose son he is, and not on facts," - said Suntsov. He noted that the victim Udovenko previously been convicted for theft, disorderly conduct and assault and battery. Chikatilo's son previously lived in the village of truth of the Kharkiv region. According to Gazeta.ua, he bore the surname Odnachev, and then married and took the surname of his wife - Miroshnichenko. Worked as a cab driver. In the village of his relationship with Andrei Chikatilo did not know (before Miroshnichenko was arrested and the story was publicized). Andrei Chikatilo killed with particular cruelty for more than 50 people (children and women). The crimes he committed during the period from 1978 to 1990. In late 1990, Chikatilo was arrested, he was tried and sentenced to death. The execution took place in 1994. |

Re: Andrei Chikatilo Crime Scene Photos
~ The main reason Andrei Chikatilo was let go from custody in 1984, was because his blood type did not match the semen type found on a victim's body. Later on, in the end, after his execution, it was suggested that he may have had a rare genetic defect in which the blood type of an individual does not match the blood type of their semen. Which was not accepted. ~ The other reason was that he was a Communist found to be in good standing. ~ I wonder if his son has the same genetic defect, which would cause sexual impotence. ~ There are two movies which were made, of which both are polar in their depiction of Chikatilo. One as a victim of his own debilitating circumstances, the other as a cold calculated career criminal with hypnotic abilities. |
