The whole death penalty system is ridiculous with people on death row for years! Why?? Anyway, the punishment is "death" not torture. Why bring the state down to the level of the loonies. Nitrogen chamber for 3 minutes and take the body away. No need for lethal injections, electric shocks or even bullets. Even the long drop British hanging method was more humane (done properly).
