Dan Wheldon wasn't driving Formula 1. He was driving Indycar, which is an unsafe car. F1 cars have much longer noses and a much stronger, carbon fibre tub surrounding the driver. Drivers still die in F1, but the cars are so much safer than Indycar.

umm, tell that to the new cars they were going to be using and ummm...they're not F1 cars. F1 cars are superior in safety and I stick by my previous comment. |
