They stopped selling Folger's coffee for awhile - the only brand you could get in prison commissary - after the murders happened and the Family was arrested. This was at CIW (California Institute for Women, Frontera) where the Manson girls were. (They built Deep Six especially for them.) Anyway, they decided to start selling to Prison Industry again because it's a massive moneymaker for the Folger family. I guess "it's the principle" wasn't that important to them.

I read that Sharon begged to have them take her, let her have her baby, then kill her. That's all she wanted. She tried for her mother while being killed. Supposedly she was the sweetest, kindest and most down to earth girl. Poor thing.
