The family probably picked out what he wore. My husbands Grandfather died and when we viewed the body I noticed that Grandma had told the funeral director to put a TV remote in his hands and a pack of his smokes in his pocket. My father was cremated and they asked us if we wanted to bring a special outfit for to be cremated in. I guess what I'm getting at is that it's what the family of the decedent wants. None of it is for the dead person. They don't care, they're dead. So while some people think it's tacky that he has a T-shirt on his family finds it perfectly acceptable. River did come from a family of hippies. I think he is a GREAT actor and it pisses me off that he was such a fucktard and had to OD. Stand by Me=AWESOME and he was great in Sneakers and The Last Crusade. I want to be cremated. But I DO NOT want any of my family and friends to keeps my ashes. I want them spread over Egypt. And everyone has to get fucked up at my wake. And they have to play Clutch. Yep. Sorry I kind went off a bit there. Oh well.  |
