anyways I'm pretty sure that he looked like that either because there was a gap between when he died and that photo, or because his family didn't want to do anything unnatural, they were like hippies. and I also think that after that photo was taken he was cremated.

He'd also taken Valium and propoxyphene which is now banned because of its deadly effect when mixed with Valium.

When he was turned down by Flea to perform on stage he drank the heroin in liquid form.

He was convulsing withing a half hour of being there and collapsed as soon as they got him outside.

It took his half retarded brother nine minutes to call an ambulance. The paramedics were there within five, and tried for almost a half hour to revive him.

They rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There is a law that requires embalming if the body is not buried within 24 hours after death. Also, the body is required by law to be embalmed if the body is taken across state lines.
