Re: Actor River Phoenix Lying Dead in a Casket
I read several places that this frightening River Phoenix funerary visage could not be embalmed away due to the dark blue color of his cyanotic skin, and this seems spot on, if you ask my humble opinion. His dead picture bothers me more than pert near anyone. No gentle 'passing away to the gd hereafter' for this kid. No Sireeee.

god damn, if they did that bad of a job embalming him (or just didn't do it at all), they could at least put some makeup on the poor man.

Banana Dick! I was thinking about you the other day. I have read he was not embalmed. His family was quite strange, may not have believed in it. I think he looks pretty good after seizing for 20 minutes on a speedball like a fish out of water for all of Los Angeles to see, dont you? His sister threw her self on top of him to try and stop him. |
