Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

I'd be happy with a draw, Pacquiao didn't impress me.
One of the more exciting boxing matches i've seen in a long time, Bradley kept coming, good for him.

Talking a rematch Nov 10, i'd be happy to see Mayweather against either of them but i'd lke to see Bradley fight him first.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

I'm still in shock. I totally agree with you that was the worst decision even seen, the stats you posted says it all. I am a manny fan but thought Marquez was robbed but at least they were close fights, I had bradly win two rounds. How am I going to be able to show my face in front of the 'boxings dead' crowed

Watch it again with the sound off, you might see things differently.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

The NSAC is responsible for this fuckery and Bob Arum will make a shit load of cash in their rematch. If I were Paq I would forget about this scum and move to Goldenboy. Manny handled himself with true class through this mess.

Turning your sound off and dimming your lights won't change the fact that Paq landed close to 100 more punches then his opponent and mostly power shots at that.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

I just witnessed The worst robbery in the history of combat sport tonight.
Foreman/Briggs
Holyfield/Lewis I
Holyfield/Lewis II (yep Evander won clearly in my view)

were on par, depends what judges are looking for.

All the commentators could harp on about was how hard Pacquiao's punches were, he slowed considerably and was only fighting for the last minute of the round after about round 3, towards the end he was only fighting for 30 seconds a round.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

Sorry, just thought of a worse shocker

Larry Holmes/Tim Witherspoon.

and then

Larry Holmes/Michael Spinx II

swings and roundabouts, sometimes it doesn't go your way.
