Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
BJ Penn has accepted the challenge of Rory McDonald. It is now up to Dana White and Joe Silva to make the fight happen. How many times has BJ Penn retired so far? Anyone even bothered to keep count anymore? Carlos Condit will either be fighting George St-Pierre to unify the welterweight title (as Condit is currently the interim champion) or Martin Kampmann if GSP is required more time for his knee to heal up. |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
BJ Penn: “Rory, I accept your challenge!" Why accept a fight with Rory? Lose, lose situation for BJ imo. Even if he wins, what does he get by beating a 22 year old with no top ten wins? Could GSP still be deeply imbedded in Penns mind? The thought of beating up his prodigy will give a physiological 1 up on GSP? Perhaps. |
