Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Guy goes hysterical towards the end of the fight. Makes you wonder what it would be like w/o refs. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/9F9720Z11_Y" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
grindjitsu - U see the news about big Diaz taking a super fight/BJJ match at the expo in May. Good shit, hope it's a submission match not a point match. Any guesses who it'd be?

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Yeah bro just read about it then, don't know too much about it but I am sure the details will come out soon. Would be amazing if it was someone like Bravo or Aoki. Also Cesar has stated that Nick is not retiring, he will serve his suspension and return to MMA. He expects the hearing too be announced this week sometime. Diaz has hired one of the best lawyers for this type of thing apparently, so hopefully he gets a time served suspension and is back by the end of the year! |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Hate to announce this but since we're on the topic: Alistair-Overeem fails pre fight drug test likely out of ufc 146 title fight.mma This breaks my heart watching this. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/acaNhjkQpvo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
I hope he doesn't, but, I think he is gonna get the full year suspension. Kizer/nsac haven't gone easy on anyone yet and I can't see them starting with Diaz. It's a dumbass rule but it is a rule none the less. Surprised to see Reem piss hot so soon after his last hearing, two fights in a row he's had problems, not good. |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Just reading up on the Alistair case. Keith Kizer executive director of the NSAC said Reem's testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio came in at 14:1. What does that really mean? Just to compare to your average joe who is a 1:1 testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio. Super athletes can have a T/E ratio of 5:1. The ufc limit is 6:1. Chael Sonnon fought AS at a T/E ratio of 16.9 to 1 and was given a one year suspension which was later halved to six months. |
