I understand Condit won the fight metric stats, out struck Diaz and I'm a loyal Diaz nuthugger so you can take this how you want. Diaz won rounds 1, 2 and 5, therefore he won the fight.

I understand Condit's stick and move strategy because you don't want to stand in front of Diaz and go toe to toe, that's fine. But a fighter completely turning his back on his opponent and hauling ass is running, Condit did this more than once. Diaz would've needed tomahawk cruise missile strapped to ass to run that guy down. Unless you're completely destroying a guy you don't win fights going backwards.

That takes us to fight metric which looks good and all, but the thing shoots it in ass is all leg kicks in that fight amounted to dick. When did Diaz slow down in his pursuit because of leg damage? Why was Diaz able put Condit on his back so easily in the 5th? That wouldn't happen if those leg kicks had been effective, not at all. You pursue and you take people down using your legs, it's just that simple.

Now if Diaz would have fought Condit's fight and Condit would would fought Diaz's fight that night then I would say Condit won rounds 1,2 and 5 and the fight but he did not. It was a close fight but I can't see how Condit won that fight, I just can't.

I said this the first time and it really best way I can I describe the fight. Condit got open hand pimp slapped across the face and then fought the entire fight moving backwards. If someone gets slapped across the face in the middle of a fight they ain't doing the moving part very effectively and they sure as hell aren't doing the sticking part because if they were the guy being stuck wouldn't waste good opportunities throwing open hand slaps, yet this is how people are describing what Condit did.

Also, the rematch isn't finalized so we'll have to wait and see.

You guys better give Condit his dues because he didn't have to take this rematch, he could have waited for Georges.

I respect Condit very much, that dude is legit, thats why Diaz showed him nothing but respect. That's also why Diaz fans are so pissed. Carlos and Diaz are the closest thing there is to one another and thats what the fight should have been about.

As far beating GSP, maybe, he finished Rory and he won a split decision over Ellenberger, both top shelf wrestlers so we'll see. If/when they fight I HOPE he fights his fight, if he does then I think he can beat GSP.

lroy, it is what it is man. Diaz being a more boxer type fighter needs close proximity to be effective, whereas Carlos has a more muay thai based attack and needs room to work his kicks and combos.

Diaz being a Gracie blackbelt and should utilize his ground work in the rematch in order to get the win imo.

Rumour has it that Diaz tested positive for weed and will be suspended from anywhere from 6-12 months.

I agree Diaz won rounds 1-2-5, even arguably 3. I don't see how anyone can think Condit 'sticking and moving' (he did the moving, not too much sticking) would of won him the match, worst judges ever.

Hopefully the rematch is on, I really want Diaz too rip his arm off and beat him to death with it.

Yeah, the Diaz being popped for buds has been on twitter for a couple of days, it wouldn't surprise me if was true or if it's false, we'll see. At this point the time off might be good for him, who knows.

Ellenberger by ass whopping hopefully, then he'll be in line for Condit if the Diaz fight is off and GSP isn't back soon.

Suspending Diaz for marijuana is complete bullshit imo. First off, it's not a performing enhancing drug and secondly, the guy has a prescription for medical marijuana.

There was nothing like the good old days where these guys were all allowed to be injected with steroids and have all the contenders fight for a championship in a single competition. Back then you would never hear about a controversy decision because the fight wouldn't end until someone was beaten to a bloody fucking pulp.
