Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
That's fucking stupid. Marijuana doesn't enhance your performance. Sonnen vs Stann for the number 1 contender elimination fight. Sonnen was 30 seconds away from totally dominating Anderson Silva. Never have I seen anything like it. IMO he's the only guy that has a real shot at beating Silva. Can't count out Stann. Fucking guy is a Marine and tough as nails. Agreed with Aldo, he is the biggest lil beast in the ufc and should ko Kenflo as Kenny did not look so impressive his last few fights. Frankie Edger is a small Lightweight. Dude doesn't cut weight, where Maynard is cutting from about 180 lbs. Come fight time Maynard has about 20 lbs on Frankie. Might be a factor. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Duki86cPadw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Agree that Marijuana shouldn't be on the list for athletic drug tests. Sonnen/Stann is a great fight, Stann has looked awesome at MW. But I agree that Sonnen has the exact style to beat Silva (even though in their last fight Silva had broken ribs going into the fight) And although Maynard is a fucking beast, I just can't bet against a guy like Frankie. The guy has SO much heart, and for someone who should be fighting at 145 he has used amazing speed, incredible fundemental boxing/wrestling, and smart game plans to get the belt and beat anyone the UFC threw at him (except for Grey of Course) and with out even touching the under card (that has amazing match-ups like Pettis v. Stephens) we have the card of the year, so pumped. |
