On regards to the casualties mentioned, the estimation actually goes in the range of 250.000 to 350.000, more than Nagasaki or Hiroshima in Japan. The germans lost count of the killed. Many victims died due to lack of oxygen. A great fire storm was created by the incendiary bombs. |
