What I can't fathom is why so many other so called DR's and entire hospitals went along with it, surely there must have been serious concerns about that procedure.  Great post Kel. |

I had my brain fried with 30 odd ECT sessions. I NEVER agreed to go through with it. I said no but then the Doc's would just over-ride my discision and it was forced on me. If I didn't go into the room, I was dragged in there. I have lost so many years of memories. I will NEVER get them back the Bastard's.  All because I wasn't responding to meds because I didn't have what they thought I did. Labotomies though are so much worse. They destroy the frontal lobe which is where we have our personality and rational thinking are kept. I do believe the new House on Haunted Hill, there is a very old, B&W one of these, was loosly based on this guy. |

It really creeps me out that his son seems so proud of the fact his dad did this. "Oh we had ice chests not fridges back then. (smile) So a lot of the ice picks came straight out of our ice chest (really happy smile)"  |
