With all due respect, I don't believe the cannibalism and especially the eating of the child by the child while others were eating him. That's just sick. Hunger does not cause insanity, hunger causes one to look for food and hunger causes extreme weakness and physical illness. So they had farm animals, pigs, there ya go. I've not read one story of cannibalism in sub-Saharan Africa. Why did they not go insane and each their young? This is obviously an embellished story. I'm sorry this happened but some people like to tell tall tales. |

 So these people basically were told "lol we own ur farm now bro...and if you retaliate you get gulag'd", or otherwise face starvation and cannibals. One can understand why the SS declared Joseph Stalin sub-human #1, and the willingness of the Ukrainians to collaborate with their German liberators.

This is not the only famine in history. A lot of nations many times throughout in history had to face hunger, many people died with dignity. Whereas this story sounds like Ukrainians were just looking for an excuse to turn cannibalistic. Eat their young to survive? Fucking pervs.

Funny, I'm posting this years later..Putin has the Ukraine and the POTUS as his bitches... My comment was that I don't think some people can wrap their heads around the sheer bleakness of a govengineered famine. There are no scavengers except people, and if you do make it out alive, there's only more of what you left behind. Millions died, and I'm sure beyond reckoning that every survival technique imaginable was deployed. And failed. I too can see an insane starving child realising that they are meat, and surely is just another incedent of self cannibalism. " Lost a leg in the war ".... |
