When I was taking psychology a thousand years ago, I remember one of the things we were taught was that cops and criminals have pretty much the same psychological profile. It makes sense...it's just whichever side of the fence you choose. One of my favorite books is "The Cops Are Robbers"...it was written by an ex cop who chose a life of crime with other cops and ended up in prison. Really, this is not an uncommon occurrence in this country.
