Thank you, Sharon. Your action doesn't bother me a bit. I don't expect behavior like hers outside of the Water Cooler. But when I experience it, as you witnessed, I try to direct it to the WC. But Cancun78 will remain on my iggy list. She reminds me of bipolar friends that I only send birthday cards to, but not talk to. Been there, done that, and now wary of that roller-coaster ride.  |

The part I just love about DR are the armies of dipshits that bounce into a discussion, say something stupid, offensive, or rude, or stright uo dislike you, then they leave (either through cowardace, lazyness, or ineptitude) and never discuss their opinion...basically they just poop all over and then they leave.

Why can't we require some sort of an apprenticeship for new folks that would require reading a certian number of posts before being allowed to thank or dislike or being allowed to post comments. Kind of forcing new folks to see what DR is about and see if they're committed to civil back and forth discussions. I'm so tired of some of the snot nosed boobs that abound here...it almost makes you want to stop participating. And while I enjoy the opinions of others, I get tired of those from outside the US constantly making negative and insulting comments on internal US issues. Just my two cents.

Yep, these are pictures of the consequences the Dutch faced when workers began striking as a way to stand up to the Germans. Rations were cut to shit. Audrey Hepburn's one of the lucky ones, she worked with the Dutch underground, smuggling messages to people, sometimes hiding them in her ballet shoes. I think I remember reading that it took her a long time to get back to full health after the Netherlands was liberated.
