Re: *UPDATE* Waitress Denied Tip for 'Gay Lifestyle' Gets Flood of Support
The west coast is a pretty good place to make a living in general, but I think Washington is the best of the 3. Oregon still has a stiff income tax and California seems to think they're a separate country. |

Re: *UPDATE* Waitress Denied Tip for 'Gay Lifestyle' Gets Flood of Support
I had an old waitress argue with me that I ordered chicken wings one time. I don't eat them because they are a pain in the ass to eat. Some people love them! I always ordered chicken fingers and potato skins then. On my way out, I handed her a quarter. Her whole attitude changed after that and she was nice and gave me what I ordered. |

so is 'Portlandia' which can be pretty funny time to time... also, if you've ever seen the documentary 'what the bleep do we know?', that's got a lot of beautiful shots of portland. |

Re: *UPDATE* Waitress Denied Tip for 'Gay Lifestyle' Gets Flood of Support
With my last post I was trying to convey that it is more understandable to not tip if the server is making the regular minimum wage. Here, in Illinois, they don't make minimum wage so I think it would be more acceptable to tip them. Since where you live they make $9.19, I can understand your point of thinking that tipping isn't necessary. Sorry I wasn't clear.
