Reality does suck! Children should be children as long as possible. As a teen and in my early 20's or so, I used to believe, "when the fantasy becomes reality, forget it!"

I'm not sure how you would explain it to a 14 year old. Some people are just mean, nasty, miserable, unhappy people! Hard to believe we are all the same species!
