(CBS/AP) CHICAGO - The sister of a bride found stabbed to death in her reception dress says the now-missing groom called a relative and said he left her bleeding after a "bad fight."

Jazmin Carrera tells The Associated Press that a sister of Arnoldo Jimenez, 30, told the victim's family about the phone call Sunday.

Jimenez was reportedly crying and nervous, hung up on his sister and wouldn't pick up when she called him back.

Police are now searching for Jimenez, who is wanted on a murder charge.

Estrella Carrera, 26, was found stabbed in her bathtub, wearing a sequined cocktail dress she'd worn on her wedding night.

Jazmin Carrera says Jimenez had hit and bruised her sister in the past.

Anyone with information on Jimenez' whereabouts should call Burbank police at 708-924-7300.

She could have been abused and afraid to be alone.

Jimenez fled in a 2006 black Maserati, so I think he'll turn up soon in Chicago! Not a car to blend in in most places! He does have a violent history.
Speculation is he got pissed off that she told her family and friends they were married.

Beautiful girl. The last surveilance film of her is in a silver strapless sequin dress. Apparently, she wore a lot of designer clothing.

Nancy Grace, if you get that where you live, showed a bunch of pretty pictures of her last night. Very sad. The older child is a girl and the two year old is a boy. They fuzzed out their faces.

When I saw this on the news my 14 year old daughter was so confused. She asked me how the new Bride could be stabbed to death in her Honeymoon Suite on her wedding night and where was her Groom? Wow. "Not happily ever after" Reality just sucks.
