Of course not. But back in the 1990's on back, immigrants would find an expectation of assimilation. And the immigrants themselves seemed to have the belief or understanding that it was a privilege and opportunity, and had some respect for the culture and nation they were trying to become apart of.

The last couple decades that's changed. And many immigrants despise their host country, don't respect its laws or culture.

And don't see it as an opportunity or privilege. But as a place to take advantage. A place to just leach off of. And have attitudes as if it's owed to them.
