Re: Suicide at Universal Studios Hollywood
So what? The only person he tried to hurt was himself, and he succeeded. Who gives a shit, as long as it's only himself he's killing? Kids were nearby, but he was out of view. |

Re: Suicide at Universal Studios Hollywood
If you take away minority gun crimes, the U.S. has a gun crime rate the same as Belgium or Luxembourg. Right wing christians although silly, are not the problem. Learn to statistics.

Re: Suicide at Universal Studios Hollywood
Self inflicted gun wounds/suicide is 60% in the National stats. Remove them, you would see how gun violent America really isn't. Remove justifiable homicides (which are accounted for in the stats as well) and we are right on par with Switzerland. There are other elements of Switzerland that keeps their suicide rates low, as well as a cultural balance that keeps their violent crime low. As in comparison too America. Gun removal in america won't stop suicides, nor will it stop violence. America has in one city, 10 times more registered gang affiliates, than the entire army of ISIS. Gun ban wont stop these violent thugs from having guns. They don't typically shop at the local gun mart anyway. This guy had it in his head to kill himself. Gun was just an tool. If he was hell bent on dying, he'd just found an alternative. |
