Re: Suicide at Universal Studios Hollywood
Switzerland? Ranks 4th in the world in guns per capita (47 per 100) and has one of the lowest violent crime rate as well as probably the lowest gun related crime rates in the civilized world. So whats so different between Switzerland and the US? The answer would be a valid basis for your argument. Instead of trying to stuff flag waving right wing holy rollers under the wheels of the short bus for bleeding heart liberals for gun control. That knee jerk response is just a repugnant as the bullshit that spews from the fringe right.

Re: Suicide at Universal Studios Hollywood
The difference between Switzerland and USA is that no one in Switzerland has any ammo. They have a milita army and most 20-30year olds are required to serve. Their issued rifles are stored at home so gun ownership is high, but they aren't allowed to keep ammo at home. |

Re: Suicide at Universal Studios Hollywood
So *legally* they can't keep ammo at home. But what keeps so many of them from just acquiring and storing the ammo in contravention of the law? Similarly, why is there so much gun-related violence in countries like the U.S., despite all the laws prohibiting it? Y'know, nevermind. It's probably just the guns themselves that are evil. |
