Certainly the guy was no prize, but this wasn't exactly the best way for it to happen...And as for resisting arrest and/or grabbing at the officer's gun...until we know all the facts it's a little premature, but it'll also be hard to defend shooting down a suspect, fleeing or otherwise, who reportedly had his hands up EIGHT times if those reports are true.

Actually. . If he did assault the officer and try and take his gun. The law allows him to shoot him. Even in his back. That's the law.
