I'm very familiar with PTSD , there's a whole shitload of us that suffer from it . I just all dont borrowing sympathy from others because of it or use it as an excuse for bad behavior or crazy outbursts ..
a lot of mentally weak individuals should have never been allowed into combat or similar situations without the proper debriefing .. Takes years for some ; I'm guess .
Traumatized memories seem to never go away but they don't have to dictate your life ..
