Reminds me of the John Gotti, John Favara case. Mafia godfather Gotti's youngest son was killed by Favara when he darted out from behind a dumpster on a mini bike. Favara couldn't stop in time.
Favara was cleared of any wrongdoing and it was ruled a tragic accident.

Gotti didn't sue however, he just got Favara disposed of.

This was the first thing I though of too.

A convenient disposal would be appropriate in this case, I'd think.
