Re: Oklahoma Botches Clayton Lockett's Execution
great post. I never understood the whole 'closing the curtain' when things go less hollywood and more 'this is the reality of how someone dies'. You applied to watch someone die then cringe and cower when you see discomfort again I stress some people deserve to die and some people deserve to suffer but again there is not a state in the world I trust enough to advocate them having that power |

Re: Oklahoma Botches Clayton Lockett's Execution
That is one thing I think the US does wrong. We need uncensored news as well. I honestly believe some people don't realize the damage that can be done with guns and cars when under the influence. I love that Los Angeles had their program of taking young people to morgues to show them real dead bodies and what their bad choices can do. They were the first one I know of to do so. It is the same ignorance that has all these women on, "Maury," trying to track down their baby daddies because they don't understand biology, or are too lazy to use it. |

Re: Oklahoma Botches Clayton Lockett's Execution
Exactly!! I agree. Poverty, violence and upbringing effect crime rates far more than possible punishments. Most people probably don't consider that they could get caught.
