Norway; A Man Stabbed Himself in the Throat
A man died of injuries he inflicted on himself in front of several other people at Ski Shopping Center friday night. Several people who saw the man insert the knife in the neck region followed him and alerted police. They dared not intervene because he was still carrying the knife he stabbed himself with. Only when he collapsed in the area outside the taxi rank and Narvesen at Ski station people dared to approach the man. It was attempted life saving first aid, but the damage was so extensive that the man was pronounced dead by ambulance arrival at 19.05. Police said there had been many witnesses to the dramatic event. - This is a personal tragedy, we are confident that the man has not used the knife to other than itself, continue operations manager. - There are probably many who have seen the incident. Both young and old. It has also been a lot of blood left on the man's way through the shopping center and through the railway station area, says Holten. Police has asked for an autopsy of the man. - It will not take place until Monday. Based on the findings at the man, it is likely that he is from the Follo district. The man should be in the 30s. He is not known to police from the past, "says Holten. Unfortunately there's no pictures. |
