Texan Facing Trial for Shooting Intruder..........
Jury Box_20090318172225904_JPG Regular Photo Size Texan Faces Trial for Fatally Shooting 'Intruder' in Back Published : Tuesday, 08 Mar 2011, 10:26 AM CST SAN ANTONIO - A 51-year-old San Antonio man has gone before a Bexar County jury charged with murder in the slaying of a man he suspected was an intruder in his house. Testimony began Monday in the trial of Ray Lemes. Prosecutors had told jurors Friday that he shot 19-year-old Angelo State University student Tracy Glass repeatedly as the suspect fled. According to the San Antonio Express-News, prosecutor David Lunan said that removes "castle doctrine" protection from Lemes' actions. His defense attorney, however, says Lemes had only seconds to respond after his wife awakened him. Joe James Sawyer says Glass "is the architect of his own death" and Lemes "is guilty of nothing but protecting himself and his family." The defense is expected to begin presenting its case Tuesday, the newspaper reported. Anyone breaks into my house and I'm going straight for the middle of the eyes. |

Re: Texan Facing Trial for Shooting Intruder..........
It's something similar over the pond (even though we don't have guns) if they are fleeing you can't hurt them, fuck that I say stick a bloody machete in his back, I work hard for what I have so why would I go easy on some dirtbag burglar.
