** According to NBC Nightly News, Feb. 23, 2022: ~ His motive was robbery. He wanted 230 million dollars in cryptocurrency. ~ As the robber entered the Apple store, dozens of customers saw what was happening & fled the scene as fast as they could. ~ He was wearing a bomb type vest & was carrying a gun & an automatic weapon. ~ There were 4 people who got trapped & had locked theirselves in a closet. ~ The one hostage who the 27 yr. old robber had & went after was 44 yrs. old, & took the opportunity to run when he did. ~ A police vehicle then took the opportunity to run down the robber as he chased the one 44 yr. old hostage. ~ The stand off was 5 hours long. |
