I might be making things up in my head, but this looks to me like it was planned by the police to end this way.

About 5 seconds where the (I assume) multiple highly trained snipers could have got him - but they didn't.

Also the hostage was walking straight at that car that took the suspect out - coincidence? Maybe police let the hostage know to run at that car in case he get's a chance to run.

Also the car is black, unmarked and has no head lights on. With that car coming at you in a straight line, the suspect probably didn't realized it was coming at him until he kissed the windshield.

If it was improvised? Still amazing reaction by the police in my opinion.

Oh yeah, and that police officer that was driving the car for sure is gonna get some GTA memes thrown at him

I agree the car is a police car, you can hear it accelerating a lot in order to hit the suspect.

You guys are BOTH wrong.

It's a Chinese lady, who is just out shopping. She's just not a very good driver.

And she's on a cell phone.

Her headlights are off because she forgot to turn them on when she left the last store.

She's in the wrong lane, too!

And she already ran over a pizza delivery bicycle guy, a blind guy crossing the street, 2 motorcyclists, a box of kittens, and a traffic cop.

She only stopped now because she wanted a tasty noodle bowl, and was going to ask the guy she just hit, if he knew of any good local places like that.

There's an excavation pit down the road a ways, with a gas line undergoing repair at the bottom of it. She's headed there next.
