Just an update to the insanity that has gone on here. My friends brother is with her sister. She let the kids bleed out. What a horrible monster...

DARLINGTON, Ind. – A Montgomery County mother who police say admitted to killing her two young children before trying to kill herself has been formally charged with two counts of murder.

Police say Brandi Worley called 911 around 4:30 a.m. Thursday and said she killed her two children and stabbed herself in the neck. Tyler Worley, 7, and Charlee Worley, 3, were killed in their bedroom.

According to court documents, officers found Worley sitting on her couch when they arrived at the home. Both of the children were found partially covered with blankets with multiple deep puncture wounds to their necks. A Kabar-style combat knife was found in the bedroom.

Officers spoke with Worley, who said her husband was divorcing her and was going to take the children.

"I did not want him taking them, so I stabbed them," she said, according to court documents.

Police asked her again why she killed her children.

"I did not want him to take my kids," she replied. "I just wanted to die with them."

The children's father, Jason Worley, was sleeping in the basement at the time of the killing. He told officers he and Brandi were having marital problems and had filed for divorce on Nov. 16. Later that day, he attended a dance practice with Charlee and Brandi. After the practice, they returned home.

Later in the evening, Brandi went to Crawfordsville to do some shopping. Jason said he was awakened in the early morning hours to hear his mother-in-law screaming.

As he came up the stairs from the basement, Brandi said to him, "now you can't take the kids from me."

Brandi Worley is in police custody but not yet in jail.

The community is collecting donations for Tyler and Charlee's funeral expenses.

DARLINGTON, Ind. -- The mom who confessed to police that she killed her two young kids said she did it so her husband couldn't have them.

Brandi Worley, 30, was charged Friday with the murder of her 7-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter.

Police were called to the home on South Madison Street early Thursday morning after Brandi called 911 and told the dispatcher, "I just stabbed myself and killed my children ."

According to court documents, Worley told police her husband was divorcing her and going to take the children. She said, "I did not want him taking them, so I stabbed them."

Worley's husband filed for divorce on Wednesday.

Worley used a knife to kill Tyler, 7, and Charlee, 3, according to court documents. Both children were found inside the girl's bedroom with stab wounds to their neck. Police found a Kabar style combat knife on the floor of the room.

Brandi Worley told police, "I did not want him to take my kids, I just wanted to die with them."

Brandi's husband, Jason, was awakened by Brandi's mother screaming and when he walked up stairs he told police that Brandi said to him, "now you can't take the kids from me."

Autopsies were performed on the children at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. The coroner determined the cause of death for each child was stab wounds to the neck.

The deaths of the two young children has rattled the small community of Darlington .

Neighbor Cecil Haworth said he looked forward to getting his hug from Tyler and Charlee every morning, and he always kept one of their favorite treats in his home; popsicles.

Haworth also helped Tyler and Charlee make their mother a Birthday card, just days before they were killed.

"I know where they've gone, so that's what pays. God's got them, loving them now," said Haworth.

It always makes me sick to read stories like these. When they stab their children to death but lack the bravery and follow-through to cut their OWN jugular. Yeah, Mommy's not so tough when she figures out how frightening it is, sawing through her own trachea. But the kids, they couldn't stop Mommy from doing it... Now she'll sit in American prison and get 3 meals a day while those kids never will have a slice of birthday cake or a popsicle ever again. And they better not attempt the insanity defense because she admitted her motive almost right away, and no demons or goblins were telling her to do it. Bitch.
